Georgia Real Estate License
Georgia Pre-License Salesperson Real Estate Fundamentals is a 75-hour course required by the Georgia Real Estate Commission for anyone who wishes to become a licensed real estate salesperson in Georgia. The course provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of real estate.

- Taxation (4 hours 30 minutes)
- Safety Precautions (6 hours)
- Environmental Law (4 hours)
- Antitrust Law (4 hours)
- Agency Law and Disclosure Requirements (6 hours)
- Fair Housing (4 hours)
- Real Estate Instruments and Conveyances (5 hours 20 minutes)
- City and Urban Development (6 hours)
- Community Association Management Activities and Property Management Activities (6 hours)
Georgia Real Estate Pre-License Requirements:
Each applicant for the Real Estate Salesperson Exam must meet all of the following requirements:
- Complete the 75 hour prelicensing salesperson’s course approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission;ORComplete 10 quarter hours or 6 semester hours in real estate courses at an accredited college or university (usually only real estate department or law school courses will meet this qualification).
- College credits to meet this education requirement must meet normal degree requirements. Special short courses or adult education courses will not meet the education requirement unless the college or university gives full academic credit for the course or the course is a Commission approved course.
